
The Manu Eco Lodge TAMBO PAITITI is located around 100 km from Cusco, at the eastern slopes of the Andes. Situated at 1,470 m altitude within the Manu National Park, this lodge in the middle of the cloud forest offers best conditions for the observation of wildlife, specially for bird watching, for the study of plants and of course for relaxing.
TAMBO PAITITI is waiting for you with charming double bedded rooms and roofed terraces, a dining area with terrace, an observation tower and the toilets and lavatories. All platforms are thatched with palm leaves and connected by wooden bridges. TAMBO PAITITI's excellent location on a plateau above the San Pedro River is unique in the Manu Cloud Forest: Already from your room or theterrace of the lodge you may observe different species of birds or monkeys. You will find a lot of viewpoints inside or around the lodge forundisturbed wildlife observation. In addition we are offering different hikes around the lodge which will lead you into the cloud forest in order to enjoy its rich flora and fauna.
Tambo Paititi is a paradise for every orchid enthusiast: you can discover an innumerous diversity of orchids just around the lodge, in all colors, forms and sizes. Of course the garden around Tambo Paititi also offers a wide variety of other jungle plants.

TAMBO PAITITI offers an interesting library composed of reference books, specialized literature and illustrated books. We would like to invite you to do some reading in these books, discovering more about the secrets of the Cloud Forest and the National Park in addition to the information given by our guide.
We invite you to spend some days in this little paradise. Enjoy tranquility and remoteness and the full service of our crew at the same time. Explore nature on shorter and longer walks around the lodge, listen to our guides explaining flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem and witness its immense biodiversity in its natural habitat: the colorful Cock of the Rock, Quetzal, Trogon, Tanager, Oropendola and Motmot, as well as monkeys, insects and many other animals. Or take a refreshing bath in the San Pedro river and lean back in our deck-chairs and observe the animals from the viewing terraces.
